Traditional baroque songs about the Passion of Christ
Christina Pluhar has reconstructed a true “Latin Passion”, incorporating different intellectual and popular pieces from 17 th century repertoire - Corsican or Italian songs - reflecting both pain and fervour.
L'Arpeggiata, creates an exciting blend of the subtleties of baroque repertoire and the rhythms of traditional music as it reflects the atmosphere of the Mediterranean, intoxicating its audience.
