Stabat Mater by Luigi Boccherini, first variation of a string quintet and soprano.
This first variation shows the successful integration of the soloist voice into the music of the string quintet, transforming it into a sextet rather than a cantata or chamber opera with a soloist and accompanying strings. Pulcinella was established based on Ophélie Gaillard's desire to unite virtuoso soloists through the vast repertoire of chamber music with cello concertante.
